A little pilgrim boy waits at the harbor for adventure
Your child can color the hat, the boy's clothing, the ships in the background, and of course the water. There are lots of little details to discover, from the waves to the wooden planks of the pier. That way, a single picture turns into a whole little story that comes to life with crayons.
Color tip: from a warm hat to deep ocean blue
For the hat, earthy tones like brown or a muted beige work well, fitting nicely with the pilgrim era. You can color the clothing in dark green or black, while a few bright accents on the collar add some variety. When it comes to the sea, feel free to get creative, anything from soft turquoise to deep blue is allowed, after all, no one knows the exact color of the ocean on this special day.
If you like, you can even make up a little story while coloring, for example what the boy experienced on his long journey or what awaits him at the harbor. You can download this coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper. Then all you need are some crayons, and the little harbor story can come to life in color.
