Rhino Scratching Against a Tree Trunk Coloring Page
Dear parents, grandmas, grandpas, and all the creative minds in between, this coloring page shows a rhino in a wonderfully everyday moment. Instead of stomping mightily across the savanna, it's cozily scrubbing its back against a thick tree trunk. Anyone who has ever had an annoying itch between the shoulder blades can definitely relate.

The Itchy Rhino: A Coloring Page With Lots of Character
The rhino's thick skin, with its folds and armor-like plates, offers plenty of space to color. Add to that the rough tree trunk, a few leaves, and maybe a little bird watching the whole scene. Your child can explore line by line at their own pace, training their fine motor skills along the way, though of course we're not making any promises there.
Coloring Idea: Gray Giants Don't Have to Stay Gray
Sure, gray is the classic rhino color, but why not get a bit bolder? An earthy brown for the skin, a rich green for the leaves, and a warm woody brown for the trunk already look really cozy. For extra pep, add colorful accents, like a cheeky turquoise for little birds or butterflies nearby. Speckled patterns on the rhino's skin also look fantastic.
Maybe while coloring you can tell your child a little story: the rhino is named Bruno, and he has found his favorite tree, where he scratches his back every single day. Just download the picture for free and print it out at home on A4 paper whenever you like. Then the crayon fun can begin right away.
