The Singing Mermaid Greets the Sunset

Tip: From Sea to Fiery Sky
A lovely trick when coloring is a smooth blend of colors. At the top of the sky you can start with a bold orange or pink and let it fade gently into yellow toward the bottom. The sea can shimmer in several shades of blue, from deep dark blue at the horizon to a bright turquoise near the rock. The mermaid herself invites experimentation, whether with a classic green tail fin or a shimmering rainbow version, anything goes.
