Tree with Hearts in the Bark Coloring Page
So glad you stopped by! This tree is something really special, because little hearts have been carved into its bark, just like you sometimes see on old trees in the park, where couples in love once carved their initials. Here your kids get to bring these hearts to life with color and give the tree its very own personal story.

A Tree That Carries Hearts: The Coloring Page Idea With Heart
You'll find a sturdy trunk with lots of branch lines, a crown full of leaves, and of course the hearts hidden in the bark like little secrets. There's also grass, maybe a few clouds, and plenty of room at the edges so your child can add their own little details too, a bird here, a flower there.
Coloring Idea: Give Each Heart Its Own Color
A pretty trick for this picture: give each heart in the bark its own color, red, pink, yellow, and so a little firework of colors appears right in the middle of the brown trunk. The trunk itself can happily be colored in several shades of brown, which makes it look especially lively and real. The leaves are perfect for different shades of green, from light spring green to a rich dark green, depending on which season you'd like the tree to be in.
If you like, make up a little story to go along with it, like who might have carved the hearts into the bark, and why. You can download this coloring page for free and print it out comfortably at home, best on regular A4 paper, so it fits perfectly in any pencil box and on any fridge afterwards.
