Two Swans Form a Heart on the Lake Coloring Page

Welcome to an especially loving coloring page for little artists! In this picture, two magnificent swans glide side by side across the calm lake. Their long necks curve so elegantly towards each other that they create a large heart in the middle. It is almost as if the two of them have secretly been taking dance lessons. Your child can discover the swans’ delicate feathers, the gentle ripples in the water and the reflection on the lake. Perhaps little leaves are floating past at the edge, or a friendly sun is shining in the sky. This design is perfect for Valentine’s Day, but it is just as lovely for someone special who deserves a hand-colored surprise.

Two Swans Form a Heart on the Lake

Soft Colors for a Sparkling Heart Lake

The swans look especially classic in white, but a touch of light gray or soft blue on their wings will make the feathers look full of life. Orange, yellow or warm pink are lovely choices for their beaks. The water can shimmer in different shades of blue: darker blue between the ripples and very light blue around the swans give the lake a peaceful feel. Of course, the heart between their necks can be a bold red, but pink, purple or rainbow colors are warmly welcome too. You can download the picture for free and easily print it at home, for example on A4 paper. Then all you need are colored pencils, crayons or felt-tip pens and a little pinch of imagination. Perhaps the swans are telling each other about their trip across the lake while you color—and who knows, maybe a picnic for two is waiting behind the next reed leaf.
