Wizard in the Laboratory with Bubbling Test Tubes Coloring Page

Dear parents, grandparents, and little apprentice wizards: This coloring page invites you into a mysterious laboratory where a friendly wizard is experimenting among test tubes, flasks, and strange mixtures. Perhaps he is trying to brew an invisibility potion—or simply a particularly fizzy raspberry juice for his dragon friend. There is lots for children to discover and color in the picture: the pointy wizard hat, the long beard, the flowing robe, and of course the bubbling test tubes. Bubbles rise in the containers, and a little swirl of color can happily grow out of some bottles. In no time at all, the laboratory becomes a workshop full of magical secrets.

Wizard in the Laboratory: A Bubbling Color Adventure

What color is a magic potion?

Rich purple, deep blue, or warm red work especially well for the wizard's robe. The hat can be the same color or decorated with yellow stars and silvery moons. The test tubes look wonderful when each one contains a different potion: green bubbling for a frog-jumping potion, pink bubbles for giggle powder, and bright turquoise for a journey through the clouds. A rainbow potion is allowed too—after all, magic has no boring rules. Perhaps your child will think up a name for the wizard and his newest invention while coloring. Will the potion conjure giant soap bubbles or make the socks dance? You can download the picture for free and print it at home in A4 size. Then all you need are colored pencils, crayons, or markers—and the laboratory can bubble away in lots of cheerful colors.
