A Little Hedgehog Wandering Under the Starry Sky
This design is wonderfully versatile for little artists. The hedgehog's spikes can be carefully shaded, the star constellations invite dot-by-dot coloring, and the night sky offers plenty of room for soft color gradients. That way, a simple sheet of paper turns into a little nighttime adventure.
Tip for sparkling colors
Dark blue, violet, or even a deep black work especially well for the sky, so the stars can really shine. The hedgehog itself can shimmer in warm brown tones, while its spikes can stay a bit lighter so they stand out nicely from its body. If you like, let the moon glow in a soft yellow and add little dots of light to the stars with white or silver, for an especially magical effect.
While coloring, you might also tell your child where the little hedgehog could be headed. Is he looking for his cozy nest for the night, or is he curiously sniffing out a midnight snack? Little stories like these make coloring together even more lively. You can download this coloring page completely free and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper, and the nighttime wander can begin.
