The orc watchman keeps guard: an exciting coloring page for little adventurers
Your child can really have fun coloring this one: there are the rough stones of the tower, the fur or leather parts of the armor, the weathered orc skin, and of course the weapon, which calls for a good dose of imagination. Every detail invites a closer look and some color experimenting.
Coloring idea: What mood should rule the tower?
Let your child decide whether it's a calm, sunny day or whether a storm is brewing. For a peaceful scene, warm greens and browns work well for the orc's skin, paired with a friendly light blue sky. For something more dramatic, dark grays, a menacing purple sky, and maybe even a few lightning bolts can be added. The armor can also shimmer in shiny silver or rusty brown, depending on taste.
Maybe you can tell a little story together while coloring: who or what is the orc actually guarding up there? A treasure, a village, or just his lunch break? You can download the coloring page for free and print it comfortably at home on A4 paper. All you need then are crayons or colored pencils, and the tower guard can shine in his very own world of color.
