An Icy Fishing Day: The Penguin Catches a Fish Under the Ice
What's especially lovely about this picture is the mix of calm winter magic and an exciting moment. Your child can color the shimmering ice, the snowflakes in the air, and of course the clever penguin with its catch. The fish beneath the water's surface is also just waiting to be brought to life in bold colors.
Coloring Idea: Cold and Warm in the Same Picture
A lovely contrast appears when you keep the ice in soft blue and turquoise tones, while the penguin really stands out with its black-and-white feathers and a hint of orange on its beak. The fish can be colored silvery-gray or given a cheeky rainbow shimmer, however you like.
Maybe you can come up with a little story together: How cold might it be under the ice, and is the penguin already looking forward to lunch? You can download the coloring page easily and for free, then print it out at home on A4 paper at your leisure. All you need then are some crayons, a cozy corner, and the journey to the ice hole can begin.
